The Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT) recently hosted a small farewell gathering to honour two of its faculty members, Md. Mynul Islam and Mahnaz Ibrahim, as they embark on their journey to pursue higher studies abroad. The farewell event was held on July 8, 2025, in the Director’s Room at ISRT. Md. Mynul Islam will be leaving for the University of Missouri, USA, where he will begin his graduate studies in the Department of Statistics in Fall 2025. Mahnaz Ibrahim will be heading to The Ohio State University, USA, to pursue her graduate studies in the Department of Biostatistics, also starting in Fall 2025. ISRT extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to both of them for a successful academic journey ahead.
